Our strategy for the North American launch of Google Chrome was simple: to communicate the message that Google Chrome is the fastest browser. But how fast is fast? Since there is no benchmark for speed on the internet, we created one and called it 'Chrome fast.' To prove how fast 'Chrome fast' actually is, we created speed tests that compared the speed of the browser to really fast things in the physical world – a potato gun, sound waves, and lightning. The experiments were handcrafted and captured with high speed cameras without any CG effects. The results: the videos were most-tweeted about videos in the world the day they launched; a dramatic increase in downloads of Google's Chrome browser, overtaking Apple's Safari for the first time in the US and international markets; and some great response videos from fans and competitors.

For the launch of Apple's iPad, we aimed to create a groundbreaking experience for consuming content on the breakthrough device - one that becomes multidimensional with articles, photos, and videos in ways that were never possible before on the web or in the mobile space. We also wanted to propose a new advertising model for publications for the device - one that avoids slapping display advertising on everything and instead envelops the most appropriate and desired content for people. So we created a visually compelling design that fused brand elements of Cool Hunting and Cadillac together, establishing a grid system that integrated with the Cadillac brand shield. We also designed the experience differently for vertical and horizontal layouts to change the way content is consumed depending on how it is held.

The app exceeded expectations and reached the top 10 in the iTunes "Lifestyle" category within two days of launch. It was also featured on the iTunes homepage in the App Store. Download it for your iPad or read more about the project at BBH Labs and Cool Hunting.

To launch a multinational campaign for Google Chrome across the UK, we took inspiration from Google itself; making complex things very simple and usable. Since many people don't know what a browser even does, we created a simple, unique video story for each product feature that made sense to even the most un-tech-like people. We used handmade contraptions and inventions, and built the hi-tech Chrome experience out of lo-fi materials, filming everything in camera. This approach helped make complex technology feel warm, honest and accessible. The integrated campaign included video, print, OOH and web banners.

The Nike+ Human Race was an integrated event and campaign for the largest race in the history of the world on August 31, 2008. The Nike Plus site allowed runners to join the race in 26 physical race cities worldwide or run anywhere by syncing their run digitally with Nike Plus. We built a global web site community complete with runner profiles, training challenges, ability to join teams, training tips, exclusive music downloads and training music mixes, and localized blogs for each race city. Web videos featured athletes and celebrities like Kanye West, Lance Armstrong, Serena Williams and The All American Rejects talking trash and encouraging people to join the race. A YouTube brand channel, banner ads and preroll video on sites like espn.com, and social networking media with Facebook helped extend the campaign's reach. In the end, we brought 800,000 runners together physically and virtually in the same global race for the first time ever.

Fullcircle was a concept for a social network marketplace for local communities sponsored by SC Johnson. We aimed to establish new ways for people to interact with their neighbors and to create a unique space for those connections to occur. The fullcircle concept utilized location-based technology to allow neighbors get stuff and give stuff away to each other as well as a forum for information and ideas such as local schools and neighborhood events.
